Bio & background

Adam Greydon Reid is a Canadian commercial director specializing in performance-driven comedy, working with Holiday Films across Canada and the US. He began as a child actor on Nickelodeon's "You Can't Do That on Television," co-writing 30 episodes at age 16 with creator Roger Damon Price. A graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University's film program, he won the Norman Jewison Filmmaker's Award for his short "Token for Your Thoughts," which earned a Gold Plaque Award at the Chicago Intercom Festival. He toured with Toronto sketch troupe the Komic Kazes and appeared in "Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy." His commercial work brings a 360-degree view from writing, performing, and improvising. He directed Air Canada's "#TLC (Travel Like a Canadian)" campaign starring Sandra Oh, the airline's most successful campaign in its history. His ICBC PSA work with PSDDB and creative director Katie Ainsworth showcased B.C. talent including actor Amy Goodmurphy. His indie series "Hospital Show" won Best Short Form Comedy at New York's Stareable Fest, Best Web Series at Australia's AFIN and the Florence Film Awards, a Canadian Cinematography Award for Best Comedy, and the Leo Award for Best Web Series, and was licensed by Roku Originals. He is a Film Independent Spirit Award nominee. His 2024 satirical short "Vince," starring Colin Mochrie, Jennifer Robertson, Ennis Esmer, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, and Tricia Black, played festivals including Whistler, Victoria, New York, and Cannes.
