ADRN (Adrian Nguyen) is a commercial director who began in Toronto across music videos, commercials, TV, and film. His first advertising exposure was on-camera in a U.S. national spot directed by Brent Thomas. After roughly a decade based in Vietnam, he now splits time between Vietnam and Canada and is on the roster at Alfredo Films in Canada. Documented spots include Lays (“Snack Break”), MILO (“Dynamind”), Caffino Indonesia (“New Indulgence”), Kirin (“Unforgettable Summer”), Cafe Pho (“Nodding Town”), Nestlé Vietnam’s Gom mascot work with Ogilvy Vietnam and The Brief by Flex Films, Samsung Voices of Galaxy (“Circus, Reimagined,” which he directed and edited), Govee (“Game Night Disasters”), Värna Elite Sweden (with Clickone), Nippon Paint Vietnam, Sunshine Group, and Black Elevation Map with Black & Abroad. Selected-client lists also cite Audi, Red Bull, Tsingtao Beer, and Grab. His 2021 Nippon Paint Vietnam campaign was named Best Commercial of the Year by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; other linkages include YouTube Works Awards SEA 2023 Best of Vietnam and Nestlé Vietnam Cannes Lions festival presence. On the Samsung director’s cut he shot ARRI Mini LF with Signature lenses and Phantom Flex4K slow motion with Master primes.
