Aimée-Lee Xu Hsien is an AACTA-nominated Chinese-Irish-Australian director known for offbeat comedy with emotional depth. Her commercial work spans Uber Eats, Volkswagen, Skoda, MLA (Meat & Livestock Australia), Honda, Milkrun, Quick-Eze, CommBank, PayPal, H&M, Maltesers, GWM, and TikTok. She co-directed MLA's "The Generation Gap" with Trent O'Donnell, shot Skoda's "Surprisingly EV" campaign entirely at night via DDB Sydney, and directed Milkrun's "Milk It" in 4:3 aspect ratio with Poor Things-inspired lenses via ABEL. Her web series 'Pleasant Avenue' (2024) earned an Australian Directors Guild Award nomination for Best Directing and reached over 1 million views on Facebook, while 'Not Russian Anywhere' (2025) won Best Comedy at the Australian Women's Film Festival 2025 and received a 2026 AACTA nomination after garnering over 1 million Instagram views.
