Angela Kohler is a Los Angeles–based commercial director and photographer whose work folds stop-motion, theatrical set pieces, animation, and dance into art-directed brand stories. She trained in still photography—home darkroom practice and a BFA—then expanded into directing to add music, movement, and dialogue to single-frame worlds. Roster and trade copy frame her signature as art-designed, playful, and colorful, with “whimsical magic” and vibrant staged energy. Evidenced advertiser clients include Amazon, Capitol Records, Lexus, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Target, Verizon, PopSockets, Macy’s, Renault, and CoinTracker.
