Antony Crook is a British-born, New York–based director and photographer working with Black Dog Films and RSA Films. He began in still photography—published in The Face, Dazed & Confused, British Vogue, i-D and the New York Times—before building a commercial practice defined by documentary-inspired brand film. In 2014 he directed Reebok Classics’ Give Me Your Classics through RSA Films and The Rig Out, shot on location in Bolton and Manchester with cinematographer Lol Crawley and covered by Ad Age, LBB, Campaign and Ads of the World as a Madchester-rooted celebration of creative pioneers. The same period brought Brandblack’s FUTURELEGENDS spot with NBA star Jamal Crawford for the J.Crossover sneaker (DP Trent Opaloch). Fashion-lifestyle credits include Hickey Freeman’s Spring/Summer 2017 film A day in New York City with Cory Bond and Mr Porter’s A Saturday with Mr Morgan Collett. Black Dog’s roster also lists Porsche x Marvin Sound and Driven EP1 and Johnson & Johnson’s Distinctly dad. His most recent commercial is the 2026 Montirex film announcing boxer Shakur Stevenson, built around an unscripted phone conversation with Stevenson’s grandfather. Crook works in sports-lifestyle, fashion-lifestyle and heartfelt athlete storytelling, with real-people instincts and restrained observational craft.
