Bradley Beesley is an Austin-based director, producer, and cinematographer known for feature documentaries that mine odd corners of Americana—hand-fishing Okie noodlers, women bull-riders inside the Oklahoma State Penitentiary rodeo, high-school football fathers, and a long collaboration with The Flaming Lips. His films include Okie Noodling and its sequel (PBS), Sweethearts of the Prison Rodeo (HBO), The Fearless Freaks, Summercamp!, The Creek Runs Red (Independent Lens), Bluefin on the Line, Calls to Okies, and Fathers of Football (Amazon; Austin Film Festival 2018). He has directed and executive-produced unscripted television including Paranormal State (A&E), Quints by Surprise (TLC), and Mudcats (History/Nat Geo), with producing and camera credits on Storm Chasers and Rollergirls. Between long-form projects he directs commercials and branded content; roster and bio sources credit work for Apple, Nike, Dell, Warner Bros., Costa Del Mar, Yeti, Jameson, Facebook, and Target.
