Bio & background

Brit Phelan is a commercial director and photographer who splits time between New York and Paris. She began in advertising at Wieden+Kennedy on social-native Nike work that mixed intimate live action with motion graphics and visual effects, then worked at 72andSunny before directing full time. As of November 2025 she is signed with Good Times for U.S. commercial representation and is on roster at Steam Films in Canada; UNIT9 previously repped her from July 2021. Brand credits include Nike, White Claw, Verizon, Abercrombie & Fitch, adidas, Powerade, Puma, Apple, State Farm, Captain Morgan, UGG, McDonald’s, Men’s Wearhouse, Twitter, and NYX Cosmetics. Frequently cited spots are White Claw’s lived-in Let’s White Claw / Camp work (Rothco’s first global phase, co-directed with Wolfgang), a Powerade mother-daughter performance piece, Puma’s She Moves Us anthem, and adidas Impossible Is Nothing with women Olympians. In a January 2026 LBB interview she describes index-card treatments, rigorous casting, ongoing acting-class training for performance direction, multi-format thinking from day one, and selective AI-artist collaboration when the result stays emotionally real. Good Times EP Eric McCasline has called her work exuberant and emotionally charged—attention-grabbing and inherently kind. She also writes, directs, and acts in independent narratives including Finding Dad (2023) and Looking for Love (2024).
