Bruce St.
Bruce St. Clair is a Milan-born, Madrid-based director whose career bridges European art-house sensibility and American commercial scale. Fluent in Italian, Spanish, English, and French, he began as a runner at RSA London before working his way up through Spanish production houses, translating actor direction between languages—a crucible that taught him performance choreography and on-set problem-solving. Educated in three-dimensional interior design at art college, St. Clair brings a designer's precision to composition, color, and spatial storytelling. He has built a formidable automotive portfolio—Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Lexus, Kia, Toyota, Genesis, Mini, Chevrolet, Opel, Renault, Fiat, Jeep, Nissan, Lamborghini, Skoda—while maintaining range across lifestyle and brand work for Coca-Cola, Gillette, IKEA, Heineken, Vodafone, BBVA, Pearle Vision, California Lottery, and Indian Super League. His 2017 Pearle Vision "Ben's Glasses" earned a Silver Clio; his 2023 Kia "Drive Up" threaded logistical complexity (sunset-dependent projection, desert convoy) with emotional warmth. Honored with multiple Cannes Lions, Clios, and D&AD Pencils, St. Clair integrates high-end VFX through what producers call a "beautifully cinematic lens" and a "warm human touch," insisting he "never makes the same film twice." In March 2026 he joined nobodys, a new LA boutique, winning seven pitches immediately; recent work includes campaigns for Rain Trade (Mike Tyson), California Lottery, and Audi.
