Cameron Busby is a Cleveland-raised, self-taught writer-director who works between Los Angeles and New York and is represented in the U.S. by Quriosity Productions. Featured in SHOOT’s New Directors Showcase in 2018 while still unaffiliated, he directed music videos for Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Wiz Khalifa, Niall Horan, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Belly before shifting into commercials. He joined Sibling Films in January 2021 and moved to Quriosity in February 2024, debuting with a six-spot Ford trucks package out of UniWorld Group—F-150 “Barbershop,” F-150 and Maverick portfolio spots, and Black History Month “Living Legacies.” His highest-profile commercial credit is Logitech’s first Super Bowl spot (2021), “Defy Logic,” starring Lil Nas X. Additional brand work includes Walmart, Xfinity, ESPN, BMW, Rocket Mortgage, Tobacco Free Florida, The Home Depot, Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Tempo, and Gilead’s “Check On Your People.” Coverage cites swirling camera movement, high-contrast black-and-white spotlight looks, psychedelic-bright color and split-screen, and VFX-forward sequences. He frames his work around narrative storytelling and cinematic vignettes while developing the short Hoopty (2025).
