Christopher Gruse is an award-winning commercial director currently working with Hungry Man in the US, UK, and Brazil. Known for striking visual composition and meticulous attention to detail, Gruse has built a formidable reputation in automotive work, directing major campaigns for Ford, Mustang, Lincoln, Honda, Acura, Infiniti, Chevrolet, Hankook, and Kawasaki. His 2017 Mustang "Speed Dating" web film earned an Effie Award and Shorty Award while generating over 14 million YouTube views. Recent high-profile work includes a Super Bowl 2024 commercial for Kawasaki titled "Mullets" featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin (created with Goodby Silverstein & Partners), the NBA Finals spot "The Toast," and campaigns for Resy and Google.
