Claryn Chong is a multidisciplinary director working across commercials, music videos, photography, and creative direction, now represented globally by Stink Films as of May 2025. Born in Singapore to Chinese and Indonesian parents and raised in Australia, Chong creates identity-driven work blending urban landscapes with technical experimentation and striking styling. Her commercial portfolio includes Nike, Rimmel London, JD Sports, and Salomon, while her music video credits span Holly Humberstone, Baby Queen, NiNE8 Collective, Crawlers, Miso Extra, and WISP. Her Stink signing was marked by Nike x Bugeisha Club's "Unreal Movement," a choreographed action spot featuring martial arts, nunchucks, and contortion that reimagines Asian women as superheroes. Drawing on her technical background in photography and cinematography alongside DIY analogue processes, Chong also served as creative director and photographer for Girli's Matriarchy album campaign and has collaborated with talent including Maya Jama, Nia Archives, and Lava La Rue. Prior to Stink, she held UK representation with Lowkey Films from July 2023. Now based in London, Chong creates work tied to youth culture, nostalgia, and cultural zeitgeist.
