Bio & background

Corey Adams is a Vancouver-based commercial director working at the intersection of skate culture, absurdist comedy, lifestyle adventure, and stop-motion craft. He is represented in the U.S. by Farm League and rostered in Canada with Kiddo Films in Vancouver and Toronto. His career began after winning a million-dollar film contest and shooting the surrealist skateboard comedy Machotaildrop (2010) in a Hungarian castle. Brand work includes Pepsi “Hyped for Halftime” spots with NFL players Jarod Mayo, Matt Forte, and Nick Mangold (Farm League/Mekanism; Adweek), ESPN X-Games “Greetings From Austin,” Adidas SEE SEE “Footmaster” and Adidas x Alltimers, Nike SB x Poler films in Hawaii and the Cascades, G-Shock stop-motion and surf spots, Stance “A Sock Journey,” Vans Vivid Vantasy, Fox Moto, Es Shoes, Native Shoes, McQ by Alexander McQueen, Electronic Arts Skate, Marc Jacobs, and Strathcona beer stop-motion. Hands-on practical stop-motion—character busts, mouth shapes, and props—runs through G-Shock, Boardslide, and beer work alongside live-action skate and adventure films. Long-form credits include Harvey Spannos, Atlas Electric, and the six-part Amazon series The Edge of Sleep. Press notes features in Vice, Pitchfork, and Variety.
