Bio & background

Daniel Jarvis is a Dallas-based commercial and documentary director, DP, and editor working with charlieuniformtango. With more than 15 years across documentary, unscripted broadcast, and brand work, he works concept-to-completion and is known for aerial and hybrid documentary craft through Drones of Peace, founded in 2016. Early roles include news and live-event camera and edit in Los Angeles and Dallas, unscripted editing at Holden Production Group and Explosive Shorts, and four years leading post at the George Lucas Educational Foundation on short-form education documentaries that reached multi-million YouTube views. Through Drones of Peace he handled FAA permits and aerial cinematography for A&E and TLC series and Honda and Toyota spots, with shoots across 13 countries. Dated 2017 brand credits include Santa Barbara Travel Bureau’s “Spark your Spirit,” Matador Beef Jerky’s “Bull Fighters” series, Toyota RAV4 and Honda spots, and Atlantis aerial material. He is also associated with Virgin Orbit’s Start Me Up launch film documenting the company’s first international orbital attempt. Genre focus is docu-style storytelling with automotive and aerial adjacency. Major advertising awards and trade-press features are not evidenced.
