David Ehrenreich is a Vancouver-based commercial director working with Kiddo Films in Canada (Vancouver and Toronto). Industry materials describe a blend of narrative vérité and cinematic imagery running through hospital PSAs, product lifestyle spots, and documentary-leaning branded work. LBB named him among Canada’s rising directing talent in May 2024, where he cited the BC Children’s Hospital Mother’s Day campaign Mighty Small Moments—mixing trained actors with real doctors, nurses, and families for on-set authenticity. Recent roster and social credits include Vessi’s Head for the Water (director and editor, noted for sound design and water), Alltimers’ Consumer Affairs, and Musora’s Create Memories. He directed and edited Light (2024), episode four of UBC’s Living On series on young people, drug use, overdose, and loss, shortlisted in Charity/PSA at the shots Awards 2025 (Americas). Earlier work includes Viceland’s Abandoned, sports and portrait pieces such as Brothers McMorris and CBC Sports series, plus viral shorts Watermelon and Man Behind the Mountain associated with Vimeo Staff Picks. He continues commercial assignments alongside experimental and long-form projects from Vancouver.
