Bio & background

Douglas Reddan is an Irish director from County Clare whose work spans music videos, commercials, and narrative film. A former professional dancer and choreographer, Reddan applies choreographic precision to projects that blend performance-driven visuals with emotional storytelling. His music video collaborations include multiple videos for UK girl group Say Now ('Millions,' 'Supermarket,' 'Can't Keep A Beat'), plus work for artists including MNEK, CMAT, Mahalia, Eaves Wilder, and a collaboration between Mumford & Sons and Hozier. As a director-editor, Reddan frequently cuts his own work. He directs narrative projects as part of the duo Grandads with Leah Moore, with films premiering at Galway Film Fleadh and Dublin International Film Festival. Their Take Flight merch campaign 'The Dragon' was shortlisted at the 2025 Young Director Awards in Cannes. In 2025, Reddan won two Emerging Director Awards in Ireland for Music Video ('Our Own Way') and Commercial ('The Dragon'), receiving five total nominations that year. He is developing feature-length movement film 'Drenched' and commissioned short film 'Pull Hard' for Glór Ennis. In June 2026, Reddan signed to London production company FRIEND for UK representation.
