Jason Yan Francis is a Paris-based commercial and music video director known for concept-driven storytelling and inventive technical craft. Co-founder of creative studio Chaos, he brings agency strategic thinking to his filmmaking. He has directed campaigns for global brands including Coach/Coachtopia, Dior (Dior Men, Dior Addict), H&M, Jean Paul Gaultier, Adidas (Americana, collaborations with Jain and Zalando), Kappa/REDSTAR FC, Absolut Vodka, Renault, L'Oréal, Galeries Lafayette, HP, Spotify, Heineken, and National Citizen Service. His work blends dynamic camera movements, handmade animation, paper collage effects, and precision editing. Notable projects include the sustainability-focused Coachtopia holiday campaign featuring the character 'Wasty' and actor Lola Tung, the Adidas Americana film with handmade paper transitions, Dior menswear films, and the backward-edited skate film 'REGRESS.' His music video 'Feels Right' for Darius featuring Duñe received a Vimeo Staff Pick. He won four awards at Berlin Commercial 2025 for 'Break the Wall' (REDSTAR FC/Kappa), including Craft: Editing.
