He entered directing after working in the lighting department on commercial and narrative projects. His commercial work includes Arc'teryx's System_A global launch, shot on 16mm along Vancouver's Sea to Sky corridor, and No Wasted Days; Tarka Apparel's Love the Rain launch on 4-perf 35mm; Make-A-Wish Canada's Wishes Are Medicine for Zulu Alpha Kilo, a film that lets wish kids speak for themselves; HSABC's If We Don't Help Them healthcare-workers piece; 33 Acres Brewing Co.'s Sunshine; and DU/ER Denim's FW20 campaign. Personal short Limbic, assembled from years of footage with friends and family, earned a Webby nomination for Best Experimental, Berlin Commercial Awards Top 10, a Vimeo Staff Pick, and Directors Library and 1.4 recognition. He was a One Club Young Guns 21 finalist and was featured among LBB's Canadian rising directors in 2024.
