Massimiliano Bomba is a Milan-based director represented globally by DIVISION, specializing in fashion film and brand documentaries for luxury houses. Since 2019, he has directed campaigns for Bottega Veneta (including the 2023 "Craft in Motion" film shot on celluloid at the Montebello Vicentino atelier), Louis Vuitton Cruise collections (2023–2025), Celine's "Infinite Possibilities" series (2025–2026), Zegna seasonal films (SS24 with Mads Mikkelsen), Tory Burch, and Burberry's "Knight Blue 024." His aesthetic draws from 16th-century Italian painting and 1970s documentary cinema, treating film as moving sculpture and privileging visual storytelling over narrative. Born in Rome with a background in architecture and set design, Bomba shoots primarily on film to preserve what he calls the "human touch" behind every process. Beyond fashion, he has helmed design-world projects for B&B Italia's Le Bambole 50th anniversary campaign (2026) and Dedar's wallpaper series. His work emphasizes craft, chiaroscuro lighting, and art-historical references, earning features in Interview Magazine (2023, 2025), LBB, and The Impression. He also runs publishing project Rawraw Edizioni and maintains an active drawing practice.
