Matthieu Mantovani is a Paris-based commercial director known for performance-led comedy and polished automotive work blending live action, VFX, and generative AI. He assisted fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, then directed with French collective The Zoo from 1999 on Renault, Banque Populaire, and Caisse d’Epargne before a solo career across France, Europe, and international markets. Automotive credits include Mercedes for BBDO Paris (The Investigation/Encounter, Magic, Cops, The Happening, The Getaway Car), Volkswagen (Hippies, Golf Garage, Together at Last), Toyota, Hyundai’s 2022 Palisade film Fits All Their Personalities built on multi-Laura visual trickery, Peugeot, Audi, Renault, Citroën, Dacia, and Smart—work tied to multiple Cannes Lions nominations. Broader clients include Allianz, NAB with Clemenger BBDO, Bauli, YOOX, Boulanger, Vodafone, Orange, EDF, Longines (Kate Winslet, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chi Ling Lin), Canal+ The Bear (BETC, 2011), the European Commission, and Société des Autoroutes PSA Animals.
