Meji Alabi is a London-based Nigerian/British director and photographer, co-founder of JM Films, and a Grammy Award-winning filmmaker whose path runs from music videos into global brand commercials. He has been represented for commercials by RSA Films in the UK and US since July 2020, remains with Black Dog Films for music video, and works under JM Films. Commercial credits include Pepsi’s global “Better with Pepsi”/“Meals” campaign (with documented 45' crane and Amber Freefly slow-motion craft), Martell’s 2024 “Be the Standout Swift” starring Davido, Guinness “Black Shines Brightest,” Facebook “Where Will It Take You,” Schweppes “Make It Extra,” Miller Lite’s 50th Anniversary, LaMarca “Celebrate LaMoment,” Walmart’s film on faces behind Black-founded products, GT Bank’s “Fashion is Freedom,” UOMA’s 2019 beauty launch, and Malaria No More’s “Change the Story” featuring David Beckham and Eliud Kipchoge. He co-directed Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl” and produced the Nigeria segment of Black Is King.
