Mike Kerhin is a San Francisco Bay Area producer, writer, and director at Atomic Productions, where he has worked since before the firm took its current name. Atomic describes him as one of its idea people: developing concepts, writing scripts, casting, scouting locations, and producing and directing shoots. His early path includes production work at KFTL in San Leandro—where he began collaborating with future Atomic principals—and at KHSL TV in Chico in the film, slides, and two-inch videotape era. On the Atomic slate he has produced San Jose Sports Hall of Fame inductee documentaries for nearly a decade. Actor résumé evidence credits him directing a 2011 San Mateo County Fair commercial. For the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter he led volunteer professional videography for the 2017 Guardians of Nature Benefit and produced the 2018 benefit’s five-minute tribute film to Supervisor Joe Simitian, also thanked as an Atomic in-kind donor. He separately produced a historical video on his father Tom Kerhin’s World War II service with the 4th Infantry Division. No individual trade-press awards or craft interviews appear under his name. Atomic’s company Emmy recognition for work with the San Francisco 49ers, Comcast SportsNet, and NBC Sports is firm-level and not attributed to him personally. He is represented in-house through Atomic Productions in the US.
