Bio & background

Mindcastle is the Emmy-winning directing duo of Casey Warren and Danielle Krieger, Pacific Northwest filmmakers whose commercial practice spans sports anthems, heartfelt narrative spots, and CGI/VFX hybrid worlds. They began in photography before ESPN hired them in college for an NFL Draft piece, opening work across ESPN, NFL Films, MLB, and major advertisers. Evidenced clients include Aramco (FIFA World Cup “What If”), Adidas (“Impossible Is Nothing”), SoFi (“World Cup Ambition”), Questrade (“Impossible Dream,” cited as a 2023 Super Bowl commercial in Canada), Verizon (“Call Mom”), Microsoft (Mesh/HoloLens 2 and Copilot launch storytelling), Powerade (Crystal Dunn), Patrón (Guillermo del Toro collaboration), New Orleans Pelicans (“Won’t Bow Down”), Dell, and McCain (Olympics “Fry Thief”). Awards include an Emmy for Excellence in Production on The Franchise (San Francisco Giants), Emmy nominations for ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown and NFL Network’s “The Season,” 2017 ADC Young Guns, 2017 Clio Bronze (Rangers “Since”), One Show One to Watch, and multiple Young Director’s Awards including a 2015 Webfilm win for The Journey. They joined Farm League for U.S. commercials in January 2025 and Starling for the UK in November 2023, after Sanctuary Content and earlier MindsEye chapters.
