Bio & background

Mireia Pujol is a Barcelona-based commercial director who earned a BSC in Audiovisual Communication at University Ramon Llull and trained in film direction at the New York Film Academy. She worked in Spanish feature development and as an assistant director while directing short films recognized at El Ojo de Iberoamerica, Ciclope and CdeC, then moved into brand work. In October 2013 Los Angeles company Boxer Films signed her for first U.S. commercial representation on the strength of campaigns for Dewar’s White Label, H&M and Chanel; SHOOT Magazine named her an Up and Coming Director of 2013. Coverage frames her method as poetic observation of character and place—using a look, a brief exchange or a carefully composed shot—and describes the camera as an eye that watches and approaches respectfully. Evidenced advertiser clients also include Tous (a Mother’s Day film, May 2021), McDonald’s and Banco Mediolanum. Current commercial representation is with Primo for Latin America and Europe, with UK coverage via Primo’s March 2025 partnership with JW Collective; earlier reps included Agosto, Czar and Carbo Films. Dated post-2013 trade credits outside Tous are thin in available sources.
