Bio & background

Najeeb Tarazi is a Los Angeles commercial and music-video director who entered live-action after a Harvard physics degree and four years as a Pixar technical director on Toy Story 3 and Monsters University, with two computer-graphics patents. Coverage frames his signature as humanist storytelling joined to self-engineered technique: portal edits, Daniel Crooks–inspired time-sliced carousels, David Hockney–style photo collages, volumetric capture, motion control, and multi-attempt composites. Brand work includes Adidas athlete spots with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Emeka Egbuka, Uber’s Don’t Stop til Zero, GoDaddy’s Power Your Future, Qualcomm, Microsoft, Snap, Logitech, a Disneyland Halloween campaign, Vive Organics, and earlier fashion films for Girlfriend Collective, Revolve, and Everlane. The 2022 experimental skate short One More Try earned a Vimeo Best of the Year badge, an ADC Merit in Film Craft (2023), and public praise from Tony Hawk. Music videos including ArrDee & Cat Burns’ Home for My Heart (carousel/portal construction) and Gaz Coombes’ Walk the Walk (UK MVA-nominated; SXSW 2019) extended the same vocabulary. He is on the Moxie Pictures US roster.
