Nicole Holofcener is an Academy Award-nominated writer-director who brings character-driven dialogue and observational comedy to commercials. Documented commercial credits include Citi’s “Would You Rather” (2016), Secret antiperspirant, Yoplait, and General Electric. In trade coverage she describes gripping viewers quickly while keeping ads funny, realistic, and entertaining enough to move audiences and drive purchases. Her writer-director features include Walking and Talking (1996), Lovely & Amazing (2001), Friends with Money (2006), Please Give (2010), Enough Said (2013), The Land of Steady Habits (2018), and You Hurt My Feelings (2023). She received an Oscar nomination for Adapted Screenplay for Can You Ever Forgive Me? (2018), plus a WGA Award win and BAFTA, Critics Choice, and Independent Spirit nominations, and co-wrote The Last Duel (2021). Television directing includes Parks and Recreation, Orange Is the New Black, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Enlightened, and Lucky Hank. She is represented for commercials by Bob Industries in the US.
