Noah Kistler is a Los Angeles-based director and editor represented in the US by San Francisco’s Kaboom Productions (signed March 2024). His commercial reel centers on United States Air Force work—including GSD&M’s “Maintainers” campaign, which introduced him to Kaboom, and “Aviator”—plus Polaris Industries’ “Hometown” motorcycle film with rider Gavin Fax and Greats Shoes’ fast-paced New York “Focus” spot. He pairs documentary authenticity (real people, real places, real emotion) with a heightened filmic aesthetic. On Polaris he operated camera without an AC; on USAF he navigated classified B-2 Stealth Bomber restrictions at Whiteman AFB, planning angles and cut points to the second under card-deletion rules for restricted imagery, while connecting ground maintainers to aircraft in flight. Kaboom founder/EP Lauren Schwartz has cited his thoughtfulness, flexibility, respect for subjects, and ability to deliver a filmic campaign look under proprietary military conditions. His director-editor practice shapes efficient coverage planned for the cut. He previously spent more than a decade editing trailers and documentaries for A24, Netflix, Neon, Paramount, Sony Pictures, Hulu, PBS, Discovery, and Magnolia Pictures, and holds a B.A. from Wesleyan and an MFA from USC SCA; his short Dear Jane premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.
