Omar Jones is a Brooklyn-born, Los Angeles-based director, editor, and visual FX artist raised between Jamaica, Queens and the Poconos. A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in Music (2023) and VMA nominee for Pusha T’s “Diet Coke,” he built his reputation on time-space-bending music videos for Nas, Amaarae, JID and Clipse, ScHoolboy Q, and others before expanding into branded content. He directed Levi’s global “The Floor Is Yours” for TBWA\Chiat\Day—a dance-driven spot in which a young woman literally moves the floor and room through slick VFX as a metaphor for progress. Additional commercial work includes Jack Daniel’s “That’s What Makes Jack, Jack” and “Guitar Face,” KidSuper x Puma’s “The Intern,” KidSuper’s Paris Fashion Week AW26 “Outside the Box” film, and Wieden+Kennedy New York’s “America Erased” for Courageous Conversation Global Foundation, confronting school book bans and the erasure of marginalized histories. His commercial strengths center on fashion-lifestyle storytelling, music-driven imagery, and VFX-forward concepts. He is working with Prettybird in the US and appears on Riff Raff Films’ UK directors roster.
