A former agency copywriter and creative director in San Francisco, New York, and London (including TBWA London under Trevor Beattie), he began directing at Beattie’s urging and sharpened a cinematic style at the Swedish collective ACNE before later roster stops at Hungry Man, Fancy Content, and Bully Pictures. As of September 2024 he is represented in the U.S. by Yard Dog TV, with Believe Media UK covering the U.K. and Europe, Circo Filmes for Brazil/LatAm, and Lizards.TV for Italy/Europe/Middle East. Commercial work centers on comedy for Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (Cannes Lion–winning “ChinChilli Day,” “Dream Vacation,” “Time Traveller,” CeeLo Green’s “Escape”), candy and CPG (Twix, Skittles, Snickers x The Original Donut Shop, Cadbury, YoCrunch with Neil Patrick Harris, Chex Mix, Jammie Dodgers), Wendy’s, Old Spice, Gillette, Axe, Alfa Romeo, EasyJet, British Airways/Avios, Old Navy, Microsoft Kinect, and the European Union (“Chemical Party,” Cannes finalist and D&AD winner).
