Roger Guàrdia is a Barcelona-born, New York-based director of commercials, music videos, and fashion films. He moved from Spanish underground clips into international music videos for Sony Music, Warp, and Captured Tracks—work for ROSALÍA, Battles, Bad Gyal, and Mourn that earned UKMVA nominations, including a 2018 nomination for Mourn’s “Irrational Friend.” Clients include Nike (“Choose Phenomenal”), Converse (“All The Stories Are True”), Stella McCartney (“Saturn Is Not That Far Away,” written and shot with an all-child cast in one day), Adidas, UNICEF, Zara Origins, Tecate, Calvin Klein, Hood By Air (“The Prologue”), H&M, YouTube, Huawei, Parsons School of Design, and Uber Moto. His 2021 Zara Origins film, built on Aphex Twin’s “Avril 14th” with models and a full orchestra in a swimming-pool complex, was awarded and nominated at CICLOPE, the Webbys, Berlin Commercial, Berlin and Milan fashion film festivals, CANIFFF, and 1.4 Awards. He directed Uber Moto’s music-driven “La ciudad a tu ritmo” for Wieden+Kennedy Mexico. He is signed to Serial Pictures for US commercial, branded entertainment, and music video and listed on Anorak Film; earlier representation included Park Pictures (US 2019; London 2023), CANADA, and RadicalMedia.
