Ryan Gibb is a British Columbia-based commercial director, DP, and editor who moved from sponsored freeride mountain biking into filmmaking after bike-film appearances. He studied film at Brigham Young University (2006) and directed Red Bull content, the multi-award mountain-bike film Life Cycles (with Derek Frankowski), and the documentary 199 Lives on Travis Pastrana before entering advertising. Signed to Holiday Films in 2012, he remains on that roster and joined Yard Dog TV for U.S. spots in February 2023, splitting time between Southern Utah and British Columbia. Agency relationships include GRIP, John St, TAXI, BBDO, Maclaren McCann, and One Advertising.
