Ryan Girard is an Austin- and Los Angeles-based commercial director and editor rostered at CamLock Films. With more than a decade in the industry and roots in Cleveland, he works as a director-editor hybrid specializing in high-energy transitions and automotive shoots, with hallmark emphasis on musicality, rhythm, and pacing. Evidenced brand work includes Toyota (2023 Synthetic Pictures–credited “Electric”/bZ4X-family material plus Corolla Cross and Sienna pieces), Cadillac, Mobil 1, Pirelli, Loctite, Duracell, LG, AMD, Flexjet, Vitamix, and the Cleveland Cavaliers, plus bio-cited NBA and NFL collaborations. A 2018–2019 Cleveland stretch produced Cavaliers “Reflections,” Flexjet’s Geoffrey Zakarian spot and “The View Above” mini-doc (2020 Judges Choice Addy), and Vitamix “The Perfect Blend.” Craft posts show motion-control and cinema-robot product and food work with Loop Moco. Narrative credits include shorts and the 2016 Machine Gun Kelly video “Alpha Omega” (co-directed). An in-progress personal short, “An Ode to the Stick Shift,” mixes scripted, AI, and documentary elements tied to a family interest in cars that informs his automotive commercial work.
