Sage Bennett is a New York–based commercial and short-form director represented in the US by Greenpoint Pictures, which signed her in June 2025. Evidenced commercial credits include Dior, Jim Beam, Saforelle, 1-800-FLOWERS, EltaMD (a sunscreen spot shot in Salt Lake City), and Cal Water. She describes her branded work as primarily narrative, with “a bit of grit” and “relatable humanness,” and has spoken about extensive experience directing children and leaving room for unscripted discovery. Parallel short-film work includes multiple NOWNESS premieres—the award-winning Placebo, dance film Childhood Homesick with Angela Trimbur, unscripted 35mm Earth Is For Lovers, On Mute, documentary Grandma Kitty’s Ping Pong, and Atlas Co./Mercury Lens narrative Aguamiel. In 2026 she released the Greenpoint-produced absurdist short Big Important Director and 16mm dance film Earth Angel. Craft centers on analog texture and handheld movement she says lets director and DP “respond instead of dictating.” Recognition includes the 2020 SHOOT New Directors Showcase and Best Director plus Best Narrative Short at the Manhattan Independent Film Festival. A University of Utah Film & Media Arts alumna, she previously worked via Namesake, Boogie Nights (France), MindsEye (UK), and Identity.
