Stefan Pflug is a Copenhagen-based commercial director whose work is frequently framed as “cinematic documentarism,” pairing emotional storytelling with grounded visuals. He entered directing via sports sponsorships at Unibet and producing at Robert Boisen & Likeminded, then built a sports-and-fashion slate before broader brand work. His 2025 Call Me film ‘The Lonely Generation,’ produced by Holy Ravioli with Brandhouse, examines youth loneliness with organization Ventilen. Shot on Alexa 35 with Zeiss Super Speeds by Sturla Brandth Grøvlen and cut with documentary editor Rasmus Nyholm Schmidt, it was featured by LBB, Directors Library, SHOTS Best of April 2025, and Ads of the World. Other credits include Children’s Hospital Colorado, Hello Fresh (‘Take Back Dinnertime’), AXA, Santander, Vivo, K-Rauta, Orifarm, and the Payday 3 ‘Follow the Money’ launch trailer for Starbreeze/Overkill—written and directed by Pflug with a Vienna Symphony score and an Ice-T appearance. Roster brands also span Adidas, Puma, Pfizer, Danone, Arla, Pandora Jewelry, and AIDA. Early recognition includes Creative Circle metal (1 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze), VOTD wins, Berlin Fashion Film Festival shortlists, and an AdAge Editors Pick (2017–2019). In October 2024 he signed exclusive U.S. representation with Cultivate.Media while remaining repped by Frenzy Paris, Le Berg Berlin, Holy Ravioli, Thirsty Film, and Dear Friend (Canada).
