The Argentines are a Buenos Aires–based commercial directing collective, principally Rafael López Saubidet and Augusto Giménez Zapiola, represented in the United States by Bob Industries. Their reel centers on performance comedy and warmer family storytelling for advertisers including DoorDash, DIRECTV, HSBC, California Lottery, Mentos, Fiber One, Staples, Quilmes, and Zagorka. In November 2024 they directed DoorDash’s GUT Miami multicultural anthem Hay DoorDash En La Casa, covered by Shots and AdWeek as a nostalgia-led Hispanic-audience film that reframes the parental line “hay comida en la casa” around delivery-enabled family meals (prod. Chirp Films). The prior year they delivered DoorDash’s Miracle Mile / Everyday Miracles out of Bob Industries with Mike Teevee, listed in Shots’ Christmas Best Of November 2023. Additional evidenced spots include DIRECTV’s Tom Selleck Lookalike and Trench, Mentos Party, Fiber One Expecting, Zagorka multi-spots (Cops & Robbers, Beauty Queen, Disco Singer), California Lottery’s holiday gift film, plus H2OH!, Don Satur, Vigorsol, Gosloto, Mercado, Viacom/Paramount, IECO, and Staples. Bob Industries positions the duo around performance, stylized film, and humor. No Cannes, Clio, D&AD, or AICP wins are documented in sourced trade press.
