Tohé Commaret is a Franco-Chilean filmmaker and visual artist working between gallery exhibitions and commercial directing. She signed to FRIEND (London) and Leethal Reppin (US) for music video and commercial representation in early 2025. In early 2026, she directed a surreal artist film for RIMOWA, produced by FRIEND. Her music video work includes "Rare Baby" for KUKII (shot in Cairo, 2024), "Take Me By The Hand" for Oklou and Bladee (2025, heavy VFX and 90s-inspired set design), "Vanity" for Isabella Lovestory (shot on 35mm with mirrors and split screens, 2025), and "Noon" for Kiss Facility (Sega Bodega and Mayah Alkhateri, 2025). Commaret's visual language blends documentary realism with surreal and mystical elements, often using static camera work, long takes, and nonprofessional actors. She won the Ponto Prize 2026 (MMK Frankfurt) and the Dorothea von Stetten Prize (Kunstmuseum Bonn). Her short film *8* premiered at Berlinale 2022 and won multiple awards. She has exhibited at Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, ZOLLAMT MMK Frankfurt, and Spike Island Bristol. Trained at Beaux-Arts de Paris and Le Fresnoy, she draws influence from Lynch, Rohrwacher, Buñuel, and Weerasethakul.
