Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia are a Tel Aviv-based directing duo working with Iconoclast (US, France, Germany) and Newland (Stockholm, Copenhagen). They blend surreal VFX-driven storytelling with grounded emotional narratives across commercials and music videos. Their recent commercial work includes Nike's "Why Do It?" with Wieden+Kennedy Portland (voiced by Tyler, the Creator, named SHOOT's Top Spot of the Week in September 2025), Apple's "Journey into Sound" for AirPods Max and iPhone 16 launch, and Pringles' Super Bowl 2026 "Pringleleo" spot starring Sabrina Carpenter via BBDO New York. In music videos, they have earned Grammy nominations for Coldplay's "Up and Up" and Tove Lo's "Glad He's Gone," and directed work for Dua Lipa, A$AP Rocky, DJ Snake, and Bob Dylan. Vania often shoots, edits, and designs VFX on projects himself, while Gal brings deep post-production and writing expertise. Their work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, the VMAs, Camerimage, the Webbys, and D&AD, where Vania received the Next Director Award. During COVID lockdown, they shot a Dacia campaign entirely in their Tel Aviv flat using scale models.
